Opinion of single lid crossover or saddle style tool box for pickup trucks?
looking for opinions regarding pickup truck tool boxes. I'm in the market for a single lid crossover for a full size GMC. I want something durable, secure and at a decent price. Not plastic or "the bottom of the line" cheap aluminum ones you see at some of the auto parts stores. I plan on hauling tools in it not groceries. I'm not a contractor but I do perform side jobs frequently hence the need for a durable box. Been all over the web shopping and now I'm looking for opinions. Good or bad, fire away. Thanks!
I would suggest a single lid. I have installed and used both kinds in the past(over 30 yrs.) and now will only buy the single lid. It is much more versatile.
