Some noteworthy information about Spring Compressor Adjustable

Learn What Are The Basic Types of Air Suspensions!

There are three basic types of air suspensions: the double convoluted, the tapered sleeve and the rolling sleeve. The double convoluted air suspension is used in front-driven suspensions and is able to carry more weight than the other types. The double convoluted system is used in many vehicles that carry loads, like trucks. It is called double convoluted because it is made up of two air bags that are connected by a short stroke. Tapered sleeve air suspensions are conical and are used in rear suspensions in vehicles that do not have heavy load requirements. Tapered sleeve air suspensions are used in vehicles where the smoothness of the ride is of the utmost importance, like luxury sedans. Rolling sleeve air suspensions are cylindrical and are also used on rear suspensions. Rolling sleeve air suspensions are used in vehicles that need excellent handling, like sports cars.

Air suspension systems have several major benefits over steel spring suspension systems. Air suspensions have a wide turning range and don't require the adjustments that steel springs would require to reach the same level of turning capacity. Most air springs progressively adjust to different compression levels, which often provides a greater level of handling than spring systems. Air suspensions are also easier to customize than spring systems, meaning that individual vehicle owners can choose their own levels of softness or hardness by easy tuning methods. Air suspensions are also usually much better at carrying heavy loads while still providing a comfortable ride. Many hot rod and customized car enthusiasts also use air suspensions to give their vehicle a customized look or "stance," meaning they change the way it sits, tilting the vehicle forward or backward.

All in all, you can fairly say that all the suspension products of suspension system are extremely important in any motor vehicle. There are three major and important components of a suspension system, which must be clearly defined and explained and they are known as springs, anti-sway bars and dampers. There are four major and basic designs of springs including coil, leaf, torsion and air springs. All of them are equally important. If you want to know about dampers then you should know that they are actually the shock absorbers. They are oil pumps, which are placed in between the frame of your vehicle and the tires/wheels. The upper part of these shocks is attached and connected to the sprung weight, which is also known as the frame and the lower part is connected to the axle, which is just near the wheels. And now it comes to anti-sway bars, which are also known as anti-roll bars. They are being commonly and successfully used with dampers (shock absorbers).

We also provide both replacement air ride suspension parts, including air springs, air struts, compressors, air bag suspension and dryers, and conversion kits that, convert your car to high quality passive suspension systems.

Air shocks, air springs, air struts and other air ride suspension parts wear out. We give you the option of replacing them with top quality passive suspension parts or replacement air suspension parts engineered to fit your specific application. We have been designing and building suspension kits and conversions since 1999 when we produced our first Lincoln air suspension kit. We maintain a fleet of test cars equipped with factory air suspension systems that we try out all of out new products on.

Air suspension is a type of vehicle suspension powered by an engine driven or electric air pump or compressor. This pump pressurizes the air, using compressed air as a spring. Air suspension replaces conventional steel springs. If the engine is left off for an extended period, the car will settle to the ground. The purpose of air suspension is to provide a smooth ride quality and in some cases self leveling.

What are the O-rings for in a set of lowering springs?

I just bought a set of fully adjustable lowering springs with 3 different sized o-rings (one of each for each wheel) and I do not know what to do with these... I got my spring compressor and i know how to replace stock springs off the strut but ive never looked at lowered ones... please help guys... :) Thanks!
lol yeah... well i sure would use installation instructions if they were given... most of the aftermarket things i get have no instructions with them... nice try.. im not that dumb.

to be honest with you i have lowered a few cars in my day and never used anytype of 0-ring. could you be mistaking it for a spring insulator(not to call you dumb). other than that i dont know what to tell you. good luck!

Thank you for shopping our online store. Hopefully you have found the Spring Compressor Adjustable you were wanting to own.
