Some noteworthy details about Lubricator Air Tools
Time For Air Conditioner Checks
It is nearly time for spring in the northern part of the United States and in the southern parts spring is well on the way which means that it is time to perform that annual AC-Heating Repair and check to see if it is in working order. The best time to do this is before the weather gets too hot so that you can keep up with the change in temperature. There are a number of items to check, ranging from hoses and screens to the lubrication of the fans and making sure that the air conditioner still fits in the window correctly.
There are several important tips to keep in mind when working with air conditioners, the first being if you are a person who does not like or is not familiar working with tools and handyman projects, it is better to call a repairman for your AC- Heating Repairs. However, if you are handy with tools there are steps you can take to make certain your unit is ready for the hot weather ahead. Always turn the unit off before attempting any cleaning or other type of work on it.
Check the air conditioning unit to see if there are leaves and other debris blocking the vents and screens. If there are bushes or other plants growing too close, trim them back. It is important to make certain that the electrical power is off both at the conditioner and at the control panel before attempting any further maintenance.
After you are certain the power is off, carefully rake away leaves and remove the outer screen, brushing away any dead bugs, dirt or leaves. If the main screen is at the top of the unit, be careful not to dislodge any wires connecting it to the fan and clean the fan and vanes being sure to not snap any parts. Cover the motor with a piece of plastic and then use a hose with a spray nozzle to clean the side vents. If you have a window air conditioner, remove it from the window before any cleaning. When you are done, remove the plastic and during this time, check the hoses for any leaks and replace them if necessary.
Reassemble the unit and turn the power back on at both places, then turn the air conditioner itself on and set the thermostat below the temperature of the room. Wait to see if it works and puts out cool air. Listen for any sounds that should not be there and let it run for several minutes. If it does have cool air and there are no unusual sounds or smells, then it is working as it should and is ready for the summer. Turn it off and cover with a large piece of plastic to keep dirt and bugs out, otherwise you will have to clean the screens again.
If the air is not cool when it is coming out then one of the possible problems could be the thermostat or more refrigerant needs to be added to the system. It is a good idea to have a certified technician look at the air conditioner unit at this point to ensure that it is fixed. AC-Heating Repair is one area that occasionally needs to be checked out by a qualified person adept at handling air conditioning and heating repair for your heating and cooling systems.

Questions on Lubricator Air Tools
Do I need to install an air compressor filter/dryer on my?
I have just purchased and air compressor. INGERSOLL RAND 30 gallon 2HP to be exact. I am going to be using it at home to run my automotive air tools. I was just wondering if an air dryer was necessary as for the lubrication of the tools I don't mind lubricating by hand. If i do need one I want to buy a dryer/lubricator combo. What are the necessary things to install the dryer/lubricator to the compressor?
If by dryer you mean a line filter, they are always a good idea. Compressed air can be dirty and full of moisture which can cause premature wear and failure to anything it goes to. Not to say that your impact or whatever will fail in short time but it will only make it last that much longer. This is an often overlooked part of a compressed air system which ends up costing you more down the road. Filters are cheap but air tools are expensive. You filter the air going into the compressor to protect it, why wouldn't you do it for the air going into your tools? Stick with oiling by hand, this will avoid a bunch of oil in your air hose in case you decide to use it for a small paint job or something else that you don't want oil getting into.
