You have to move swiftly with your costume, whether you are the dashing D'Artagnon of the Millennium Falcon or a budding Barbarella. But if you don’t have the time or patience, don’t worry. You can hire or buy a costume from the abundant supply inside the Bestival site, at the marvellous Dressing-Up Area. The Bestival 2009 is set to blast off in its now familiar setting at the Robin Hill Country Park from the 11-13 September. Massive Attack and Lily Allen are amonst the featured stars at this year's Bestival, along with the wonderfully named 'They Came From the Stars'.

Konami: Snake in Brawl
Namco Bandai: Mario Kart Arcade GP
SEGA: The Mario & Sonic games, Sonic in Brawl
Square Enix: Super Mario RPG, a few recent crossovers
Tecmo Koei: Team Ninja helped develop Metroid: Other M
If you can think of any other companies that fit this category, please reply. DON'T count second-parties like Game Freak or Retro Studios, and DON'T count subsidiaries of any of the above named companies (for instance, I know Hudson Soft helped develop Wario Blast!, but Hudson Soft is a subsidiary of Konami).
