Do I need to upgrade my powerwire and ground?
I don't know if I need to upgrade or if I do how much of a difference I'll get, but right now, I have a 4 gauge power wire set up running from my battery to my trunk, then I have a t-block that I mounted to the back or my box where I have two 4 gauge power wires running to my amps that are about 21inches away from this block. I just upgraded my system to a 1610D Hifonics BXi mono amp, then change out my four channel amp to a Hifonics ZXi 840 amp. Do I really need to upgrade my power wire for this set up? My power wire kit said it supported up to 2000watts I'm not pushing 2000Watts so I should be fine. Lastly, what kind of a difference will I see if I actually do switch this out?
