Some noteworthy info about Spray Wash Cabinet
Dallas Painting - Brightening Up Your Kitchen By Repainting Your Old Cabinets
Over time, grease, water, heat, stains, and food residues leave indelible marks on your once beautiful kitchen cabinets. If you did not want to spend a giant amount of cash purchasing new cabinets, you should study your options carefully and you'll find how out. Instead of replacing the cabinets, you can think of giving them a face-lift by a repainting them. Do the job yourself, and you can cut down the costs further. Naturally, there'll be an added bonus of the creative satisfaction you will get on doing the work yourself.
If you choose to paint your kitchen cupboards, keep in mind that the work could well spread over a period of a few days. This will mean three days of eating out, so plan the work when it is most convenient.
The first thing is to fix on the color. For this, consider factors such as the color of the kitchen walls as also that of the tiles. The scale of your kitchen must also be considered. Also keep in mind that light colors imply of spaciousness.
Next, decide if you'd like to color both inside and outside the cabinets. A house painting job involves a minimum of three days, and if you choose to paint the guts also you'll have the extra task of emptying out the drawers.
Step one in the painting involves the cleaning process. That means you have got to remove the dust and grease stains. Remember that cleaning for a do it yourself painting is different from the usual hygienic cleaning pattern that you follow.
Cleaning guarantees a uniform and even finish to the paintwork.
Examine the surface carefully for any cracks and damages because paint won't cover these marks. Use coarse sandpaper to wash the surfaces and file down the scratch marks and cavities with wood putty.
Once this is done, prune old enamel surfaces with a primer. You've got the choice between oil-base primer and water-base primer. Selecting an oil-base primer is a better choice as the paint readily sticks to it.
While painting the stiles, cover the counter top with a masking or a painter's tape. Begin the paint job from the least accessible points and work outwards. Next, paint the inner surfaces first and then move to the outer ones.
You may consider using spray paint to give your work an even and uniform look. When you are done, allow lots of time for the drying up process and then reassemble the cabinet back to its original position. The new, fresh, clean, and aesthetic look will provide you with joy of a day's work well done.
Questions on Spray Wash Cabinet
Do I clean up after pest control?
The exterminator came out today and sprayed/fogged for roaches and ants. All of my stuff is out of the cabinets. They sprayed about 8 hours ago, and there are dead and half/dead roaches everywhere. I cleaned them up.
Do I have to wash the cabinets to put my dishes back in??
If not, how long do I have to wait to put all the stuff back into cabinets and drawers?
On the invoice these are the chemicals that are circled:
BP-300
NYGUARD
SUSPEND
would need to know exactly what he did and used to give a good answer...probably should place new shelf paper in cabinets to be safe, or at least a cleansing with a bleach solution in areas the dishes will contact...place back when areas are dry
