Questions on Rear Disk Brake

how do i adjust rear disk brakes on a gm car?

how do i adjust out the rear disk brake pads on a 91 gm car? are they self adjusting when the brake pedal is pushed in reverse? my pads seem loose and dont seem to adjust out far enough and my brake pedal is kinda squishy. any thoughts?

They should adjust automatically. If the pad's are worn enough, try replacing the pads.
