If i did this routine 3 times a week will i get big arms in four months?
I started this today.
Shoulders
Standing Side Laterals (dumbbell) 7 sets x 6 reps
Standing Military Press (Barbell) 7 sets x 6 reps
Standing Upright Rows (Barbell) 7 sets x 4 reps
Biceps
Standing Bicep Curl shoulder width grip (Barbell) 3 sets x 8 reps
Standing Bicep Curl close grip (Barbell) 3 sets x 6 reps
Alt Bicep Standing curl (Dumbbell) 3 sets x 6 reps
Triceps
Overhead Triceps Extensions (Triceps Bar) 8 sets x 15 reps.
I hate to tell you this but unless you have been training for years you are doing too much.If you over train you will not see and feel the results you are after. Shoulders should be no more than 3 sets of the same weight. On all dumbbell exercises it should be 3 x 6 , then 3 x 7 and up to 3 x 10 reps ( you have to get all reps before moving up)...then go up 5 pounds and start again at 3 x 6. Barbell . 3 x 6 and go up to 3 x 8 (all reps finished) then up 5 pounds.
Also you need to come up at least 2 more triceps exercises and work them at a different angle ( you have too many sets and reps here). Triceps make up 2/3 of your arm size.
