Some interesting facts about Crank Seal Tool
How To Choose A Motorcycle Battery Based On Your Needs
There are many aspects that can be used to differentiate between various motorcycle batteries and determine which one you need. It is best to keep this in mind as choosing a motorcycle battery is dependent on many factors beyond just the size of the engine. Batteries are generally differentiated by their CC (cold cranking) rating, although they can also be visually identified by their dimensions such as height, width, and length. A batteries CC rating is representative of its ability to start an engine in 0 degree weather. Therefore your battery requirements would need to match a required output of at least 90cc if you owned a 90cc Harley Davidson. Motorcycle batteries typically come in three flavors: conventional lead/acid, self-sealed, and factory sealed. Conventional batteries require the most maintenance of the three but are the least expensive while factory sealed batteries are pre-charged and are already sealed with the acid, requiring no further need for maintenance. Self-sealed batteries still need to be filled with acid and then charged before being sealed but require no further maintenance after that, giving them an ideal balance between the other two battery types.
If you own a boat then you would have entirely different considerations when choosing a battery to install on your vessel. When buying a marine battery there are two types of batteries for addressing different needs. Determine if your boat needs a deep-cycle battery or a starting battery. A starting battery delivers a large current over a short period of time and is generally used for sudden electrical demands such as getting the ship's engine to start. A deep-cycle battery on the other hand is used to power all the equipment and amenities on board although the rated voltage is not generally as large as that delivered by a starting battery. As long as they are able to generate the required amount of voltage for what it is being used for, a deep-cycle battery can be used as a starting battery, while some boats make use of both types of batteries at the same time.
No matter what kind of vehicle you use there will always be a need for powering everything on-board that isn't run by fuel. Things such as the lighted console area that houses all the dials and gauges, as well as the less important features like the radio, are all powered by on-board batteries. Questions on Crank Seal Tool
1998 Honda CR250 Rebuild, question.?
I got my cylinder bored, matched to piston, head shaved for performance. Top end is pulled, bottom end is out of the bike. I bring the motor as is into the mechanic, I get him to split the cases, put my new Wiseco crank in, main bearings and seals. Throw the motor back together, top end and all. How long does this take by a good mechanic, with propper tools. I put the motor back in my bike myself, motors already tooken out of the bike with top end off.
Just need an esimate in hours, my mechanic is 60$ an hour.
approximately 8 hrs for a rebuild on split cases in my shop.
Thank you for shopping our store. Hopefully you have found the Crank Seal Tool you were wanting to own.
