Questions on Mpg Trip Computer
Has anyone experienced a trip computer MPG reading different from actual MPG on 2006 Toyota Camry's?
My 2006 Toyota Camry XLE has a trip computer that gives an MPG reading that is about 10-20% less than what I would come up when I fill-up my tank and divide the total miles driven by the number of gallons purchased.
I base this from the fact that another car (Hyundai Sonata 2005) gave me a very acurate 19.6 MPG which was the same as what I have calculated.
PLS NOTE: Pls disregard the fact that this is a Hyundai. I'm just comparing cars here. My point is: if the trip computer works correctly on one car, it should work the same way on another.
i have never seen a in car computer be acurate, i only use em for trip odometers
